That was our beer club, Tom was behind and had to catch up to the reast of us, so we lined up the beers he had to make up, and we did shots while he drank, including the o'doul:eek: I'll dig out one of my card and post one of the list. Good times

These "ruins" are *completely* bogus! Don't waste your time and gas.
I suppose they are about 100 years old by now, and the Colorado and Colorado Springs tourist promoters can't bring themselves to really say they're completely fake, but everybody "sort of" knows it. They are a popular movie backdrop, though.

Given that they don't divulge how much of it was "re-created" or "refinished" I assumed that much of it was built upon what "may have once been there..."
Or something like that. ;)

Still pretty cool, in a Hollywood-sort-of-way... and Mesa Verde was an 8-hour trip that I couldn't fit into my short vacation.

At least the Native Indians who gave a short dance presentation where real Indians.... I hope..... :eek:
