I think the only thing a hard hat might do at that elevation is keep a few bird droppings and the occasional small meteorite off their heads.

:D :D :D

To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, at that point the helmet is wearing you for protection.

Radio waves.................

yellow911turbo 11-09-2004 08:48 AM

I'm studying a whole lot about radio waves right now - the last test is tomorrow. The joys of A.F. Comm. Is that really used as an antenna or is that just a warning light for planes? Even if that is an antenna, it's just a reciever... unless it's an isotropic transmitter. Maybe it's something like http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=581&ncid=581&e=10&u=/nm/20041105/tc_nm/tech_taiwan_wireless_dc hmmm. From a quick search on google, looks like that it is used for radio or tv. Like i said... isotropic. ;) Break over. Back to studying. Cheers.

I made you all read that nonsense, so here's my contribution. This is from when I was deployed to Iraq. That's a bag of toilet paper rolls... Looks like it is in Turkish. I thought it was funny.

I don't know if this is real or not, considering how powerful programs like Photoshop are, but...
