So many bizarre cottage industry cars in the UK... it's hard to nail one down.
Ervikingo, Bond had 4 wheelers as well, there's one here in town. We should start a "name that car" thread. The one who names it gets to post the next challange. |
Next clue: It was used in hill climb races and both the front AND the rear wheel steers.

Bond made several cars, and was around for quite a while. I have an advert for Bond from 1953 somewhere in my collection of junk. I guess the Bond Bug is best known. |

nice :D

Well, nobody identified widebody's pic of the classic Fiat Multipla. I thought I would mention it before it was forgotten.
I'm hoping somebody can guess that green, English contraption that white87911 posted. I have not got a clue. I even resorted to Googling after clicking through all my files, and just can't get it. Must be some kinda one-off item!! |

The car is currently in a Motor Museum in Southern England.

Next clue ?????? I'm stumped.
|
South of UK is the National Motor Museum (Beaulieu), been there but do
not recall seeing that car. Come on, throw me a bone here...... |
You can find the answer by using Google and the clues I provided.
Beaulieu is the correct current location of the car. |

Okay, I thought I would cheat and just go through the Beaulieu Museum index of cars. Nothing. Nada. So here is a suggestive McDonalds sign to torment you. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1130524799.jpg |

It was made by Gilbert & Rickard of Syon Hill Garage in Isleworth, London. |
My first car was an Austin A35 Van in grey like the Wallace and Grommit one.
My second car... 1966 Morris Mini Minor 849cc, fitted with the following extensive improvements to its performance... Two white stripes of tape on the bonnet for increased speed, special grill with additional lights, Peco exhaust with large single pipe for extra noise and power, rev counter in front of the driver - visible through the steering wheel, special bracket to lower the steering wheel towards the driver, Dunlop Groundhog radial ply tyres, centrifugally feathering engine fan to reduce drag and increase power at high revs, large stromberg carboretter for increased power and fuel consumption. Maximum speedometer reading (wildly optomistic) 90 mph http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1130528212.jpg |
