That fence was another of Dubya's many, expensive and ill-conceived ideas. The only real beneficiaries are the contractors hired to build it. Prolly friends of his. For eight years, it was a US Treasury free-for-all.

Radioactive mercury (including some sort of white mercury powder phenomena we don't understand). Radiation readings are around 600 R/hr (down from 25,000 R/hr for those who care...)

Ah, something you don't understand. That is what scientists live for, is it not? Although historically that has proven to be hazardous to health when in the context of nuclear science.

That monstrocity was parked in the driveway of a house down the street from my house a couple years ago.
I nearly snapped my neck when I drove by and did a double-take WT heck.
