A few that I haven't seen mentioned:
The Chameleons (UK). One of the best bands to come out of England, who released a bunch of records but got zero attention stateside. New Model Army. Ditto, plus the bass playing was incredible. OMD. (Don't laugh.) Before they made it big via John Hughes movies, they released some very dark and moving synth pop. |

Saw Agent Orange in Vegas last year when racing w/ the POC. No mention of Bow wow wow or Black Flag, or did I just miss them. Bananarama?
