life is racing...
This always seems to be credited to Steve Mcqueen in Le Mans, but I thought it was penned by Juan Manuel Fangio in a book he wrote. Can someone tell me if this is correct? The whole quote is: Life is racing. Everything else is just waiting.

As luck would have it I watched Le Mans last night while my wife was having a 'girls night out'... Steve McQueen does use that line (or something close to it) when asked why men risk there live's for something that does not seem important... although I guess he could have got it from Fangio.

Your quote doesn't sound like the exact line from the movie 911-m5, so maybe they used a little artistic licence. Or maybe I need to buy the DVD and watch it again.
![]() Other than that, I have no clue. What book are you thinking of? Dan
