it was a little skittish driving home, but within 5 minutes of setting it in a seperate room (until Bubba "i kill things stone dead 100% of the time" Zanetti, get's time recognize the kitten's smell, and be more ready for acceptance...) it was eating, playing , purring... it's a real people-kitten... just perfect, cause Bubba ain't social, so maybe he'll become more sociable now...

need to name the little one, has to be something badass and mean, will be odd while it's a kitten, but it will be just right after Bubba trained it

I don't know what it is about the 4th of July, but something like this always happens. My ex-wife's car was stolen from or parking area a number of years ago on the 4th.

This person is in for a surprise when they come out to their car...

Wheel locks? Or just use a hole saw and cut it off?

Drove down to Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego this morning. Beautiful place.

Went to visit my Grandparents who are buried there.

Gramps was a Doctor who provided very well for my Mom and my Uncle. I didn't know him too well as he passed in 1969.
Grandma Grace was way ahead of her time and was an absolute firecracker. Instead of marrying the farmers son next door, she became a nurse and served on the battlefield in WWI.

It was a nice visit on a beautiful day.

This post absolutely made my day...I bet Grace and Gramps lit up a room.:)

I hope they don't mind sharing the stage with Hoge (Hover Out of Ground Effect) and Jack:

Do you have a link to a full-res version? I keep expecting one of those Independence Day spaceships to come through the cloud.

Mothy 07-06-2008 04:58 PM

Fraid not - I grabbed it off a Newspaper site at the time. Kinda spooky isn't it. That day there was flooding rain in the city as you would expect.
