One of my new wing tips for my R/C glider. It's incomplete, but taking shape. There are 13 ribs per side and they are hand cut (by me) and these are 'hollowed' out.

I wasn't able to get near the fire, as the road was blocked on either end, but this was not at KVNY, but a little south, it may be an actual airplane that went down, but I was able to see the model airplane field that is just south of the airport and it looked like it was at the R/C field. I think it was an R/C jet that caught fire and lit up the fields. I will be out at the park later thie evening and will try and find out more...
