Here is one more of the accident. Dennis Setzer is the driver of the car in the Nationwide series (it started after the Cup race) that took the wild ride and walked away uninjured.

I think he was captioning the photo. The gull has that expression if you want it to.
Looks like a typical SoCal variety of which there is an actual classification: California Gull, Larus californicus. |
