Agree, what does this mean? If you didn't waste money on a Porsche your house would not have been destroyed by some act of nature? Why would owning a Porsche make losing your home any better or worst?
How would I adjust my priorities if I saw a group of 50000 dollar chevy trucks drive by? Weird comment.

perhaps a group of porsches signifies a group of people who are very lucky...and then a group of destroyed houses signifies a group of people who are very un-lucky.

I think he is saying that we should appreciate our Porsches even more since we are really lucky to not only have a home but also a nice car. Or else it is that Porsche problems are not really problems to get worked up over since things could be worse.

Reno last month Porsche reunion, or whatever Rob called it. I met the most charming little old lady, Gramma Pat, had one of the first few hundred 911s but drove the prius that day because her daughter had the car.
