That's a pretty shallow DOF on that macro lens you've got there.
Is it hard to focus?

In July, I spend 14 days in a boat on the Amazon river, and another day in Manaus at the end. I took about 7500 photos while I was down there. I've gone through about 1/2-2/3 of them and got about 700 online. Here are a couple.

Out on my trail loop last night and found these alien eggs. The one is approx. 12 inches across.
