I went on a solo mtn bike ride late this afternoon. I was carrying my bike up a steep trail and almost at the top, put my foot down 3" from this little one...
  I guess I startled it and it started to slither away, that's when I noticed! Juvi Southern Pacific rattlesnake. They are out early this year because of the warm Winter and out in force!

was in the uk last week...
Burned a few IHG points for a free room near the Glouster Rd tube  Had the "new guy" with me so we saw the Victoria monument/Buckinham palace...  Some hard core action at Paddington  Beautiful ironwork there...  Had some spare time and went to a little brewery near Reading.  Somehow magically coordinated our meeting with the Reading Real Ale Festival (one of my colleagues helps organize the thing)  No possible explanation for this...

I bought a used Audi...............the speedometer is off a little, the clock is too, but that is an easy fix.

My A3 2.0 TFSI Quatro Sportback.has just completed 70k miles during a 1750 mile return trip to see the Monaco Historic racing.
