My next door neighbor, about my age, goes like a bat outta heck, on this bike
if I'm not mistaken, an Eddie Lawson replica.

One of the machine shops at Thomas Edison's West Orange, NJ factory, looking pretty much as it did back in the day. Belt-drive system was powered by a single electric motor nearly the size of a 55gal drum. This was the late 1800s...long before OSHA came on the scene. The noise level in here must've been off the charts.

Coast Guard towing capsized boat into the Depoe Bay Harbor

September 8, 2017

I didn't know at the time that 2 men had not survived the capsizing.

Wife and I were in a small Mexican restaurant just South of the bridge in town and noticed some commotion. I walked out and caught the scene.
We realized later the Coast Guard helicopter we saw earlier was on a recovery mission.

Thanks Baz! You bet I will. My dad got excited when I sent him the shots I took the previous day. He REALLY wanted to see it in person. So that was special to me so I made the arrangements. Guess this baby is one of only seven still flying in the world.
