I've been out wondering beaches here for fitty years... I don't recall ever seeing this species.
I'd guess he/she/it was between 2 and 3 lbs

Rainy-er than normal here, 39 degrees at under 200' elevation so the deluge we are having has our snow pack at 98%.
That makes me happy.

Down side is the Stillaguamish river at the East side of town is rising, not to flood stage yet, but threatening to get there in the next 24 hours...
