Oh and by the way..............that early Vette is a small block with a converted 1st generation fuelie unit to electronic set-up

Yep, my first thought was "Ain't no supercharger, that's just the ole' mechanical feul inj."

But it's supercharged too. You can see the tubing and belt driven supercharger on the far side of the engine. It even has the distributor and coil cover. I've never actually seen a car with one, but I've put several models together that have had them. Pretty cool.

Yes I forgot to include the centrifugal supercharger set-up. It is a very nice install.

I just picked up a Springfield/Remington 1903A3 in 30-06 that has a sporter stock on it. Being new to rifles...what do you know about these things? I picked up a sporterized bolt the other day so I can adda low mounted scope, and I'm going to add a Timney trigger. Am I doing good so far?

Now now settle down. It was "butchered" when I got it. It's a Greek return that somebody started to make a hunting gun out of. I'm trying to make it respectable again. They made 6 zillion of them. It already had the stock, and cheapo Tasco scope mounted on it. Front sight missing basically stripped of all mill spec stuff when I got it. Of course if it were an intact original gun I would have left it alone.
Hey I'm the guy who drives a 36 year old stock 911.

Alright... if someone else butchered it... that's usually excusable. ;)

It should make a respectable rifle for what you want to do with it. I'd make sure the action is bedded well.

Thank you for your service.

I feel better now. I'm I on the right track with the changes I am making? It's just going to be a target shooter/plinker. I don't kill Bambi. I got it as a partial trade for some shotgun resttoration job I did. I'm such a sucker for trades, and didn't own a rifle. Made me somewhat of an oddity here in deer country PA.
