The Ospreys have been back for a few weeks. There is a lot of pressure on nest sites due to the increase in Osprey population. We will refurbish the current nest site and establish another one next year with a neighbor.

This nest is high in a tree at the edge of the marsh. Could have issues. I mow this section much to the dismay of the current tenet.

It was windy yesterday when I took my dog for a ride/walk. One of the pair in the nest just hovered over me. Wing form is amazing to me. The Osprey is not moving forward:

Saw Jim Messina last night. He played half of "Sittin' In," which was awesome. He said making sountrack music pays terrible (he worked on Independence Day (1982)). Unless you're Kenny Loggins.
