This is a scale model of one of the 25 'Big Boy' locomotives built in the 1940s by The American Locomotive Co. They had over 6,000 HP, weighed over 600 tons, and could reach speeds of 70MPH. They were used mainly in the western US to haul freight up & over the mountain ranges.

Lake Chelan
Spent a few days in Stehekin on Lake Chelan last month. The trout fishing from shore was very good. Also did some hiking and biking. Hard to get to but worth it. DP

those look pretty edible. But then I'm not hunting the ones that come on my property.
Venison is tasty, but I don't really have an interest in performing my own hoof to table. I used to have a buddy that had a lease and he would give me a little meat when he'd get a deer. THAT'S the way to do it. If I was starving or had to, I believe I could manage. |
