Do it you will have a great time. To cut down on movement from the boat (if there is any at all) get a cabin in the middle of the ship. If you encounter rough seas the front and rear will be moving up and down. Royal Caribean is a great choice, nice ships, great food, good enertainment, and best part of cruising is traveling at night and being a tourist by day. Also a cabin with a balcony is the best you get an ocean breeze while you sleep, FYI some rooms have no windows and some rooms have windows that don't open.

Did a cruise up the coast from Vancouver to Juneau, AK for my honeymoon a few years ago. Definately worth doing. Not sure if I'd go for a Carribean cruise, but then, I live in Florida and have flow to the Bahamas, etc. a few times.
