84porsche, go the CPA route. I got an undergrad in Finance and then went back for another in accounting. worked my tail off for nothing my first four years out. sucked up. payed my dues. Made my boss (whom I didnt like) a lot of money. When he put his name on my CPA papers. He offered my a partnership. It was up or out for me. I chose out. Started my owne practice the old fashoned way...with about $50k of his clients. I now delgate all and work very little. Its all about paying your dues.

Thanks guys for all the advice. I over-debate issues and I just need to stop worrying so much and take action when it comes to my career. I will let you know how things go but I know I am due for many changes.

Definitely get the CPA, it's something you can put on your resume to differentiate yourself from other "accountants". It shows you have the committment to stick to something and get it done. Do it while you're young and have to family to care for.
