Ya know...it's really kinda funny....
When Mulholland used to post here, all the libs used to whine about him. Mul didn't even have a p-car, so he shouldn't have been allowed to post here. And, I might add, Mul was invited here. This "red ufo" guy has been posting since July, with EVERY single post being here in OT...not one mention of his p-car...or of ANY car, for that matter...and not one complaint from the libs. Things that make you go "WTF???" Randy

So, tabs..... massacres happen in war, and that's okay? And before you show us your brilliant tactical understanding, how do you suppose a military commander would answer that question. Certainly, war is he!!. But when innocent people are massacred, something went wrong. Regardless of who thinks that's just 'par for the course.'
I'm not concluding this was a massacre, just speaking to the notion that "Oh well that's the way it goes." Respectfully, tabs.

It sounds like a couple of people here, at least a couple, are entirely clueless about the Mull matter. To those people, I suggest you get a real good night's sleep on Friday, have some delicious coffee, read the paper and have a nice breakfast, and when you're feeling just as objective as you can possibly feel, go back and review some of Mul's posts. His occasional backup research was, by far and away, the most positive thing about his posts.

Muhulland as a JC who called arabs "Sand (rythmes with chiggers)" my heart isn't filled with hatred of arabs, and anybody different. As for 911, now most of this country has woken up to Bush's lies on WMD and some are slowly caughting up to speed with my line of thinking. After this sinks in, people will start questioning Bush on 911 more carefully. Hell 3 years ago I was bleeding heart republican that verbally beat down some of my own close friends for even suggesting the military was in 911 and anything other than the official story had to be a lie. Finally I researched many versions of what happened that day and concluded the official story is as bogus as the Iraq official lies. Someday you'll sober up from your patriotic flag waving drunkeness has wore off and when you caught up to me on the plateau I'm on I'll be waiting for you my son and all will be forgiven. I still consider myself a conservative, it's just that the stupidity/quasi-criminality of the actions of Dubya's administration (most noteably Iraqnam) transcend political leaning.

“I think people complained about Mul because he backed up his opinions with links, research, etc.” LOL
I think that red ufo’s gibberish is so bizarre it couldn’t possibly offend anyone. In fact I really doubt that he could believe that himself & still wonder if its supposed to be some joke. No one can love the X-Files that much. I don’t think there’s anything ‘liberal’ about him. Clinton responsible for murdering 1,000 people ![]() Mul managed to get out 1,500 or so posts before being banned. I really doubt that red ufo will last that long. |

Well Supe maybe we should have asked General Custer what he thought after the Wa****a in 1868...for those of you who are ignorant of American History.. It was Custer who attacked a Cheyenne Indian Villiage in the dead of winter killing women and children...BTW Custer was applauded by both Sheridan and Sherman who were the heads of the US Army ..both had very low opinions of the Indians. the massacre was planned at the Wa*****a...
You might say that was Custers big military victory over the indians... He tried it again in June of 1876, but this time the outcome was a bit different...

I'm too lazy to search the archives. What were the circumstances with Mul?
Thanks, Sherwood |

Interesting. Well, we'll have to agree to disagree. I remember clearly when Mul busted onto the scene. I remember thinking that he was highly insulting and disrespectful, to say the absolute least. And I remember thinking that there was virtually no substance, other than his very emotional conclusions, which he communicated to us in the form of disparaging remarks toward certain groups of people, like for example the majority of American voters in the 2000 election. Then, I'll ahve to admit that he did eventually get into the practice of occasionally showing that he had done some research. In fact, I would have liked for him to settle down and be part of an adult dialogue because some of his research assertions were intriguing. But he never did that, and the VAST majority of his posts had NOTHING whatsoever of value, unless you consider hatred and enmity valuable. His remarks, from start to finish, were the most insulting and the least objective, of any and all Pelicanheads anywhere. When it came to irrational name-calling, he was and I'm fairly sure will always be, King. So good was he in fact at name calling, that he's no longer welcome here. He never was welcome in my book. If he could tone the attacks and name calling and insult remarks down just a notch or two, he'd be welcome back. But I think he knows he cannot. I think he cannot.
No. You sound very reasonable, so I'm surprized. But no, we did not hate him for his research. Not at all.

Sorry red (whoever you might be) - but I most of your posts are a little irrational for me...
Mul got banned basically for nothing other than continuing in the same vein as he had been after being warned to tone it down by Z-man. The bold bit is important. He was an angry, angry guy. I objected to his strong profession of christianity clashing with certain of his views (haha, he and I represent the opposite ends of the christian spectrum) --> tolerance wasn't a strong point, and to the constant liberal/democrat bashing (as groups, but by extension those who voted or believed that way). It was all very aggressive .Hence I argued back with him. Ok, so maybe I just like arguing.
