You've had a fairly thick skin all along and that's admirable. But it just causes more, and more vicious, personal attacks. So, just continue to stay relaxed and show your maturity. I've very much appreciated your input and remarks, as well as your patience and maturity. There are only so many of us non-neocons here to present the opposing view and I just didn't want you to get blindsided by the fairly nasty attempts to get you to go away, that you are still seeing.

The US won't attack Iran, Israel will. Just like they did with Iraq in the 80's under the same circumstances. And we will support them.

In case you all are getting off track, the whole reason for the dislike of the US in the middle east is our support for Israel, no more, no less. I don't have a lot of time to go into this, but Israel seems to be preparing for another stand, digging a trench, building a big-ass fence, etc. What is this for? To stop the incursion of armor and personnel into Israel.

Nothing else, maybe you could use it to write an article for your schools newspaper...

not saying they deserve the land they are on, but they do offer up a interesting wedge that has proven somewhat valuable to US interests. Imagine if they were never around, do you really think that the rest of the middle east would hate us so? Of course they would, this has gone on before the crusades. I'm sure that statement will bring about some fire but I don't think, or maybe I don't want to believe that the middle east has a problem with us becuase of our connection and funding to Israel. May be a part but not the only reason - if it is, man they really are near minded and short sighted.
