Yeah, I remember the indoctrination too. My parents were conservative, albeit educated and moderate. Dad held a number of community posts. Grandad was the town banker. Lots of R's in the family. And those economic theories do sound very insightful.

Until I got into the real world. I'm 47, and not nearly naive enough to swallow that stuff now. Just as an example, I like fiscal responsibility as much as the next guy. Which is another of dozens of reasons why I wonder why anyone voted for Dubya. And even if we were going to outspend all other civilizations in history (which we are, by a wide margin), I'd prefer that we buy something for us. Here. Like roads and employment and stuff.

Smaller government is good too....but that seems to be a thing of republicans past.......
