Who is this woman that has intreged the web with her liberal rants? At first blush she would appear to be a brazen liberal with a burning agenda but her threads insight more responces than most anyone elses. Her topics are provoking and her responces to each flame breeds for responces. Here are the on-going theories, add as you see fit:
Who is Cool Chick?:
1) An ultra conservative 60+ male college prof looking to gauge the "rights" responce to the "lefts", publish the trends accordingly, and continue to advise grad students in a post Carter government.
2) A moderate conservative 25+ female with a high intelect who is looking for a suitable life partner who shares similar interests.
3) Same as (2) but also screens for number and type of cars in the stables - got to be practical if your looking right?
4) A ranting liberal female who sits in front of her screen late at night witha glass of chard and howls at the fury she creates in very short order.
5) a fictional pal that the boys at Pelican invented to make this topic center bustle with activity and guage just how much and what the overall ecomonic pain point is - good intel for price increases and product introductions?

There's a flaw in #1, in that there are no conservative college professors :D Just kidding... i'm sure there are a few... somewhere... there's got to be, right?

That'd really suck if she turned out to be a he... I don't know if I could ever live with myself after that hot cyber action last monday... kool-aid, you know what I'm talkin' about :p

I too have noticed that her posts elicit some emotive responses. but hey, all us liberals get slammed each time, so that's not too unusual.

I also notice that, generally speaking, we can be seen as a bunch of car nerds having a gay ol' time yukking it up with guy/car talk who happened to go off into the corner to start an argument over politics. Of course, the big difference between that analogy and our reality is the same as the difference between folks in a darkened-window Cadillac on the freeway versus folks standing in line at the bank. we're protected and camoflaged by our computers, so we can (obviously) talk real tough and pretend like we're brave extroverts. And yes, that goes for you, the reader.

In reality, I think Cool_Chick is probably a breathtakingly gorgeous, secure, professional and educated, outgoing lady who is interested in a wide range of issues that impact her and other humans. She is compassionate and nurturing but not gullible or coddling. She can ask for the truth But she'll never believe you she takes care of herself She can wait if she wants She's ahead of her time She is frequently kind And she's suddenly cruel She can do as she pleases She's nobody's fool.

I cracked up last night along a similar vein.

Andy Rooney was talking about the recent election and the 'liberal media'.

He said he knew a lot of media types, and he didn't think they were all that liberal. That they fell into two basic groups.

Those that liked John Kerry, and

Those that hated George W. Bush


I always assume when I read rantings (usually, but not always liberal), unless they are backed up with FACTS (like Techweenie does), then they fall into the troll category. The acid test is the date the poster joined the board. Anything around or after January 2004 is a troll that was ejected from another Porsche board around that time as they purged their troublemakers, or is a duplicate poster from here that doesn't have the balls to post in their original screename.

Yes that means you know what gender I think 'cool_chick' is.

Yep, we're car nerds. Except for me of course. And, well, it's over between me and Cool_Chick. I'm just starting to move past her jilting my marriage proposal.

But sometimes, you guys are way too funny. Been considering just letting the OT stuff go. Not that much humor from you guys lately, and the technical forum makes a great deal more sense. And they're still funny there, much of the time.

Did you guys ever read the bunny stories that Leland started? Rabbits, that is? I tell ya'. There have been times when my keyboard would have been ruined if I'd had a mouth full of beverage.

For one, number 5 is not true. If you read the sticky forums, that's forbidden. Admin can easily discover this.

Number 2, my join date had nothing to do with "getting kicked off" another board. If it did, why wouldn't I post prior to recently?

Number 3, I am a girl, you've had access (if you looked) to proof of that for a while.

The thing is, when some outsider comes to the OT, insisting to beat some dead horses, the result is, people scratching their heads, asking; who is this instigator?
