This has gone far enough.

952 - has been banned.

He has been completely disrespectful of many people here, has continuously provoked people into arguments, and posted gory and violent pictures that are in blatant violation of the forum rules.

If you are reading this 952, and have decided to alter your posting methods and wish to be reinstated here, please send me an email at z-man@pelicanbbs.com.

My apologies to my fellow board members for not taking action on this sooner.

I was not part of the 952 thing, so I read a dozen pages of the marine killing thread...................................a bunch of pissing but not what I would consider all one guys fault.

I also was not paying attention, but I did see some remarks that were on the edge if not over the top. As near as I can tell, Z-Man has good judgement.

Interesting that one of his last posts was saying that a thread about him was in poor taste and should be banned. He reported it to the MOD for some reason...

I know 'what' he is. He was banned from rennlist about a week ago, came over here to mess with you guys. The other site put up with him for a long time. Now he will probably go back over there now. The other site lost alot of neocons recently and is banning everyone who don't bow down infront of the Hilters, err I mean the repubicans 3rd reich. Basically they are recruiting to get back hardliners.

952 said alot of crap I didn't like, however I can clearly see 20-50 people here doing the exact same thing 952 did but on the other side of the coin and apparently that's ok as long as your not bashing the US and dumping on other countries is basically the norm here.

the problem with 952 is that he was killing any chance of debate.... In many instances, I agrred with his opinion about certain issues. But he was constantly baiting and insulting people to the point where you couldn't have an actual conversation with people that you disagreed with. Count me as a communist bledding heart sheep ****er that is glad to see 952 gone.

He violated multiple forum guidelines many times, and the hostility and anger he bought to this board was getting out of control. He stepped over the line of decency and respect one too many times. Simply put, 952 was a troll.

I have no problem with folks posting their views, whether their views are in agreement with my views or not. Just do it in a respectful and mature manner.

Hey, that is no different than what I read about destroying Fallujah, and sending the check to GW. Both sides are extremeist, 952 just used the enemy just to piss people off. He was pretty mean, but I see dozens of people doing the exact same thing. If this board was in Saudi, Kuwait, or any middle eastern place and the mod had to read about all the flag waving morons worried about there guns and how many arabs we killed this week. Most of this place would get the boot.

Red, I think you see dozens of people doing the same thing because of the inciteful nature of his (her) posts. I started the NZ/sissies thread only as an example of how easy it is to post nonsensical, hurtful dialog. I went to NZ once, for 2 days a few years ago. Beautiful country, nice people. Don't remember the names of all the places, though :) .
Many people have been guilty of an inflammatory remark here and there, (right? ;)) but in general, people tend to be mostly civil and not personal.

I don't care if you live in Mutte Montana, Port Shepstone, South Africa, Udevalla, Sweden, San Jose Costa Rica. It doesn't matter to me if you're young, old, white, black, yellow, or green. What matters here is that we treat each other with mutual respect, and deal with each other in a mature manner.

952 was nothing but a troll. He contributed nothing to this board except for some entertaining, yet quite offensive dialogue.

Admittedly, I have learned more from coming here than I have contributed, I have no doubt about that. And yet, while I may have had issues with an individual here or there, I certainly never held onto to it so as to disrupt other threads as this guy has.

I have always tried to respect the people on this board, even those I have disagreed with. If for no other reason, then to protect the possibility that I may have to ask someone I may have offended for some knowledge and/or assistance. But it's more than that.

People come here for the comraderie. A bunch of guys who appreciate their cars and that also may have a few other things in common, such as location, occupation, etc.

There is a wealth of knowledge here that one would be hard pressed to find anywhere else, and for the most part, that knowledge is shared quite freely. Try getting THAT servie anywhere for the same price you paid for admission here.

For someone to come here and just start causing all the hatred and discontent as 952 did, for no other reason than to just be a *****, I'm sorry, but in my opinion, that person should just leave. There are other places on the internet where people like him are more welcome.

I feel welcome here, and hope to always feel that way. I'm sure it wouldn't be that way for long if I became as venomous as 952 was.[/rant]

Red UFO - The way I see it, 952 was banned for the same sort of behavior he exhibited on Rennlist. He started threads whch were provocatively designed to elicit strong responses. One he had folks riled up, the fun really started - personal attacks, insults, you name it. It wasn't about bashing the USA! He could have bashed the US and still remained cool. That's not what he did. So what happened - other people decided to initiate threads to insult him and the post count went up like a rocket as did the use of the words moron, idiot, and four, five, six and maybe even seven asterisk words.

I don't see any reason why you should be banned. Mostly your posts are funny and clever. I do wish you'd get off the liberal/neocon thing but I can live with it.
