What in the world are you doing in Ajo for 3 months? Thare aint nothing there, and there is a lot of it! Only one supermarket, Dairy Queen and Pizza Hut, and thats it!
Only 42 hotel rooms in the town, here is a list of the hotels: Ajo Guest House Inn (http://web.archive.org/web/20010430223449/www.wgn.net/~morris/ajo/) Hotel Cornelia - 300 La Mina Ave - Ajo 520-387-5000 La Siesta Motel & RV Resort - 2561 N Hwy# 85 - Ajo 520-387-6569 Marine Resort Hotel - 1966 N. 2nd Ave - Ajo 520-387-7626 Mine Managers House Inn - 1 Greenway Dr - Ajo 520-387-6505 http://web.archive.org/web/20010502121227/www.puerto-penasco.com/ajo/business.html One good thing is that its close to Rocky Point Mexico, a descent vacation town. Its only 90 minutes drive to Phoenix so you can bug out to get a change of pace. http://cunews.info/ajoinfo.html http://www.commerce.state.az.us/pdf/commasst/comm/ajo.pdf http://www.weathergraphics.com/tim/ajo/ http://cunews.info/ajolinks.htm Good luck! Have a good friend with Customs/ICE who was at Nogales for a tour. PM me if you need more information or want to talk to him about things there.
What condition is your 914? If you need any help or parts, Patrick Motorsports, which is just North of Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix, is a very good source for parts and tech info. Was just there and they work on them all the time. Course most of their "work" involves stuffing a 3.6 engine in them and making them fly, but at least they know the cars! JoeA
