Bush is a Sith

Did anyone catch the references paralleling the Sith to Bush's administration? My favorite was Vader's line during his duel with Obi Wan "You're either with me, or you're my enemy!" Sound familiar?

I saw it yesterday (Friday) at 12:45 in the afternoon - packed house on the Mega Screen. I thought it was fantastic and really completes the saga. The last 1/2 hour was great.

I was entertained especially by the fight on the senate floor.

All in all - It was a good time.

It's a movie for crying out loud - not real life and not to be taken as seriously - certainly not as seriously as George himself takes it.

flame on bros.

Great movie, maybe the best of the six. Definitely more than a few hokey things, but how is that different from any of the other ones GL did?

Burn victim transported in an open top medical pod which lets the rain in while being transported? And they didn't give him any anesthetic during his operations...

Oh, and we see far more of why Padme is totally in love with Anikin, but little of why Anikin is so in love with Padme that he can't bear to lose her...

Great irony where he is responsible for her death...

I was on the kid of my seat, palms sweating, through out the whole movie. Great Movie.

SW3

My family and I saw SW3 last night and we all had a great time - especially the kids who are presently running through the house in mock battle with their light-sabers flashing. Visually, the firm was magnificent, and it did tie in with the storyline well. Yes, it is a bit dark, but isn't that what the "dark side" was supposed to be all about anyway?

For those of you who are waiting for the long lines to disperse - just do it. We decided to see the movie at the last minute; went online to Muvico and purchased tickets for the next available showing (about 90 minutes later). The actual line at the theater was less than 10 minutes long. It actually took longer to get popcorn/sodas!

So, don't wait. You don't want to be the only one at the office on Monday who won't be discussing the film... but if you are still recalcitrant, here's a link you MUST follow:

Enjoy!

I had fewer "but why..." or "but how..." moments in this film than the others.

I would like to know why with all the amazing technology they didn't know Padme was having twins until right before the birth.

And how did Obi-wan and Anakin raft down the lava river without bursting into flames?

Saw this movie tonight. Great flick.

I can answer both of those questions with one simple line..........

It wasn't in the script.

so i finally saw the movie yesterday. i thought it was better than the last two, but yet still felt like something was lacking... not sure what though.

on a better note though, while in theater i did see a preview for Firefly the movie... it's going to be called "Serenity"; looks like it's all the same cast as the tv series; coming this fall
