I think he (Bob Ross) has been dead for nearly 10 years.

My Daddy was the second employee of the guy who invented Paint By Number....Daddy was the person who went to the paint manufacturers and contracted for the paint supply for the kits....The inventor later sold the business for $1M....remember this was in the early 50's.....so it was big money back then...

Eric is right - Bob has been dead for quite a while.

Tabs - had the chance to buy an oil by Tarkay (sp) for $500 about 15 years ago. Stepped past it, kicking myself now. Someone told me it would be worth about $4000 now. Is that right? Maybe I don't want to know...

500 to 4K in 15 years is no big deal....I bought stuff for 500 that was worth 10K the minute I walked out the door with it...

I should walk out the door with you more often!

ahhhh Bob Ross, I remember when I heard he died it was so sad. I would always watch him when I was home sick from school as a kid, sittin on the sofa eatin an egg salad sandwich..... Happy little clouds and trees....."it just lives right here.... look at that!....just .....like ....that!"
