I don't know that it is "lies" about Rove - it appears at the moment that its possible it was him, and the only real "evidence" of his innocence is his own assertion that he is innocent.

Beg your pardon, I mean his lawyers assertion that he did not knowingly divulge the name. Knowingly being the word in the law that matters.

Well, that's all we've got. Witness Michael Jackson and OJ Simpson. We can't wager on anything that's open to interpretation, so this is all we've got. Anyway, Tech didn't say "whether or not Rove is guilty," he only said that Rove would be pardoned. So I'm betting on his terms.

While the only indication that he might be guilty is the typical liberal slur/innuendo that all successful conservatives are victims of. Fortunately, in this country, one is considered innocent (except by liberals) until proved guilty.

I seem to remember a rather widely spead accusation that Bill / Hillary Clinton murdered Vince Foster, threw him over his / her shoulder, or dragged him to the park where he was found. Oh, then there was the bull$%@! about the Clintons trashing the White House before they left. Slurs / innuendos aren't the sole province of the left.

Wasn't it a few short years ago your ultra conservative buddy, Star, spent a ton of tax payer money trying to prove Clinton got a %?*)job? And wasn't it the 10th court of appeals, one of the most conservative, rule in support of economic protectionism and political favoritism in Powers v. Harris.

I could have sworn that Clinton did get a %?* job...and lied under oath about it... and then admitted it...and was impeached.

Perhaps you should work on the "whole story."

I don't know much about Vince Foster other than he died under some very strange circumstances.

...and there was a good deal of damage done to the capitol/white house prior to the Bush administration taking over. No innuendo there...a fact.

You're on the wrong side of the argument again (imagine that). Rove's attorney has stated it was Rove who outed V. Plame.

He was impeached for lying under oath....not something that most married men do.
For someone pointing a finger about "telling the whole story"....you story is certainly deficient. Check your facts.

The law requires that a covert agent must be knowingly outed. As far as I have read, there is no indication that Rove even knew Plame was a covert agent....and there is nothing in the Newsweek article...or any other that I have found... that indicates otherwise. According to testimony, he only knew she had a job at the CIA working with WMD. That would include an awful lot of folks without covert jobs.
