You can make a small grid using mono fishing line ... saw it being used to keep seagulls away from open air resturants in S. Florida. Works good.

Only good against aerial raccoons. Ground-based raccoons would require seperate equipment - probably artillery.

that's a beautiful pond! that must be something to enjoy year-round.

sounds like i will ditch the pond idea and settle for some sort of fire pit area. talked to my friend at work today about his pond and it sounds like more work than i am willing to put into it. i already have enough to do around the house. plus i'd rather spend the time and money on toys or another car.

thanks for helping me make my decision.
