This is correct. Someone suggested an investigation? The investigation has already begun. The spotlight fell on the oil companies and Voila! Prices come down.

Oh, but that's going to be viewed as a conspiracy theory by those who will suggest this is just a coincidence. Yeah, right. You guys ever watch people? Ever see kids on the playground in Fourth Grade? And do you think those behaviors are not played out by politicians and business leaders? From my perspective, the only changes are the clothes. In Fourth Grade we wore dungarees and sneakers. Today, we wear leather shoes and neckties. Aside from that, nothing changed.

When oil was dirt cheap a few years ago and the major oil companies were losing billions and billions building and maintaining platforms in the Gulf who was complaining then? It is a risky business in the best of times.

Rich, I saw the Conoco @ 9th/Cam Del Rio had Super (91)
for $2.65...my 1st thought was , wow thats cheap !
(thinking back a few weeks ago when I paid $3.35 filling
up the 911).

Still a racket no matter how you slice/dice it

San Diego I've seen $2.39

When we left Houston, most stations are around $2.05 with a few below $1.99. San Antonio runs about $.10-.15 less per gallon (none of the "funny" fuel).
