First problem you have, is that my level of conservatism makes you THose lefties, democrats and commies. Compared to me Pat Buchannan is too liberal. Rush Limbaugh is a liberal, Glenn Beck is a liberal, most of the other so-called right wing talk show hosts as well. Nearly all of them favor government socialism of the type known as fascism in the 1920's.

I'm opposed to all socialism and socialists; including fascists.

This country was designed as a laissez faire economically, politically isolationist, nearly no government nation of states voluntarily joined into a Constitutional compact.

My goal, politically and economically, is to see that this government is set back on that road, and the fulfillment of the American Secession (aka American Revolution) is complete as much as that can be accomplished.

Bringing me back to the present government problem; George W. Bush and the Bush'ists, aka neo-conservatives. To focus on what constitutes a neoconservative read this white paper by one of the founders of the movement, Irving Kristol (father of FoxNews William "Attack Iran and Syria" Kristol), The Neoconservative Persuasion which explains who and what they are and mean to do. It is, of course, socialist to the core because Mr. Kristol was a former Trotskyite communist himself, but saw a methodology to worldwide government through the domination of the globe by the US government. Most Americans would categorize such men as street crazies or worse. We Americans can no longer be blaise about these wack-jobs, they're in the White House now.

So, to return to your specious calling me, and others, THose lefties, democrats and commies, I tell you that you have no earthly idea of that of which you attempt to speak.

"The Government That Cried "Terrorist " I just read this piece of thoughtless dribble. Sounds enlightening at first, but then starts to get all wound up in itself, tripping over any and all logic, omitting what is not convienent to make a point that is pointless.

And if you think what I just said is pointless, EXactly. The whole point is totally lost as the writer trips all over his own thoughts, going to make a point, at all cost, even facts and logic will not get in his way.

The story does point out some of Bushes real problems. Although Bush has never lied, he is no conservative. A closet democrat, like his father is much closer to reality.

That's a great thought. Unfortunately it's been reduced to only a belief in my case.

Party belief structure changes over time. The name may stay but it's still a different party.

Although I wouldn't say it's a complete switcheroo today with the Dems & Reps, it seems that the Reps are more intune with the middle and lower classes and the Dems are intune with big bucks interests. The population may not understand it but these things take time. Maybe Bush knows this and is leaving his legacy to this whether good or bad. Bush is only part of a larger flow imo.

The current Republicans are much closer to their original roots; they were the original American socialist party upon their founding. They favored the merchantilist form of government; merchantilism is nothing more than what we term fascism today. It is the merger of the corporation with the state; tossing real capitalism in the trash and using political muscle to crush competition, and to use taxes to fund corporate welfare and social programs.

The entire Bush family are and have been socialist/merchantilist/fascist for more than 100 years. G. W. Bush is a close echo of his grandfather who favored, among other socialist ideologies, euthanasia and forced sterilization of undesirables. The little acorn didn't fall too far from that tree.
