Ummm...I dunno about "Fast and Furious." Over the last few years Ferraris have looked more like sad examples from "Pimp My Ride" than Lotus.

So then, why buy a Carrera GT if a MR Spyder, or 911 GT1 looks like one?

Better than the understated, dull plaid-suited gold chain coupes that Ferrari has produced in the past. Finally some pizazz to match the 430s and Enzo -

Exactly - that's why I'd never buy a Carrera GT - not exactly because it looks like an MR2 Spyder (it doesn't); the Carrera GT, to me, is flat out suck balls ugly.

911 GT1? That's ugly as well.

Looks like everything else being produced today. But, like the Cayman, it is probably very fast and handles great.

Have you been around a Carrera GT in person? Especialy one outside of the cramped and dark confines of a show room? I have, and let me tel you, if you find that car ugly, you must be, erhm, "challenged". The one I saw out in the wilds was extremely atractive. Everything just seemed so well designed and put together.

ugly. I'd much rather have the silver Spyker with the riveted panels I saw at the LA Auto Show today. Represent the homeland.

Then again, the Murcielago Spyder is AWESOME looking. Plus you get the "f*** Ferrari" attitude with it as well.

Yes, I've been around and in a couple of them. They're still ugly.

I guess I didn't feel aesthetically "challenged" by them?

The Carrera GT is kind of strange looking to me as well. The neon colored wheel hubs, and the center console in particular.

The Cayman on the other hand... got a huge erection

Unfortunately, I will compare all modern Ferraris to the beautiful 550 Maranello. This one comes up far short. Beautiful, perfect simplicity.

In pictures, the 550 is one of my favourite post 1990's Ferrari's. The only one I've seen in person was abit dissapointing, but it was in a cramped show room, so not ideal situation to realy get to see the car. I was also a bit surprised at just how large the car was, although that shouldn't of surprised me knowing its weight. In Barchette form, its visualy much better I think. But I still like the Marranelo, just don't quite dream of it as I once did. 348 Spyder kinda stole that spot, as did a V12 engined 944.

It like a 350Z and a Z06 spent a night together....still looks very good of course I like the Enzo and I seem to be in the minority with that opinion.

Did Ferrari license those wheels from RUSH?

Initial reaction to the ptess photos of the Enzo was in general bad, even I thought it ugly. Then once ictures where seen in a real world environment, and later videos and models of the thing, I came to realy like it. Its got a great profile in how it seems to be a cross between an open wheeler and a supercar.
