work.First of all i will like to know your Name/Address/Sex/Phone and what
you do for a living presently? Our main factory is located in Africa wher
we extract the raw materials needed for the manufacturing of fabrics,we are
looking for a representative in the states, someone who would help us
receiver payments from our customers in the states. i mean someone that is
responsible and reliable.Though we are working on setting up a branch in the
states,but for now we need a representative in the united state who will be handling that aspect,We are willing to pay $400 per every payment you recieve and you can still keep
your regular job while you work for us. All you have to do is to help us
receieve payments from our customers in the states.These payments might be
in Cashiers Cheques Or wire transfer and they would come to you in your
Name, so all you need do is cash it, deduct your payment and wire the rest
to US.i hope that is okay If you are interested i would send you an
employment letter which you are to sign and send back to me as soon as
possible and i would need you to give me your full name ,home address,
e-mail address and your phone number for me to get in contact with you. It
wouldnt cost you any cent,you are to receive payments which will be sent to

Its sad that a bunch of folks are gonna believe this crap and loose a bunch of $.

I kinda wish the media would pick up on this kinda stuff more. I guess it brings better rateings for them to go interview the people that get shafted though.

I got an email asking if I was the Terry Weeks that applied to be on the next Survivor. Said to call him if I was. I think it was to get the dial tone on my phone so they could sell the #.

Also got a card in the mail. Postcard style. Saying that Mr & Mrs Grey had a package for me to pick-up and to call a #. You could tell the writing was a copy and the # looked suspicious.

Though I have seen or heard of most of the scams, I was hit by this one two times this week... It involves an ebay question from a bidder, and asks where the item is being shipped from (or wanting info on the item listed like payment terms). If you click on the item number it takes you to an ebay log in page...which is off course phoney.

Three things set off the alarm bells, 1) the question doesn't look quite like the legitimate questions on current listings 2) the ebay item # started with the digit 6, and they are currently my ebay auctions start with the digit 8. Lastly no question from a potential bidder should take you to an ebay log in page, it should take you directly to the item.

I know almost everyone here knows this stuff, but if someone hasn't seen this one yet, they "might" be taken in by it.
