NSX, full stop.
They make the same chime when you leave the keys in them as my Odyssey did, at least the early ones, so it's plenty Honda......but far from a Civic. IIRC the S2000 is not for fat dudes or those that cannot bend easily. The NSX is a little easier in and out.

They just can't see putting a $160 grand on a window sticker with a Honda badge. So they invented a upscale brand. Like Infinity and Lexus did. Cadillac, was once totally separate company, and GM bought them. One of the big problems for the VW Pantheon was the VW badge on a high dollar car.

Yes, door 3 looks like a ton of fun too.
NSX is so great on paper to me but I just dont fit. I used to service a s2000, dont fit too well either but what a hoot. Very well put together. |

I did not care for the S2000 as much as I thought I would. Did not find an NSX I liked, saw a couple of 2 pedal cars, did not drive them. I should have held out and kept driving the rental a little longer maybe, oh well.

I had the chance to drive a rental S2000 on someone else's credit card on Streets of willow Springs for 20 minutes. I did maybe 5 laps and got back into my vintage mustang.
If the Honda had a LS Chevy it would be a fun car. Or a turbo +a 7 or 8 speed Trans. But the 2.0 engine had zero torque if you change gears it fell out of the power band that started at 7,300 and ended at 8,500 but gear changes dropped the rpm to 6,000 and it needed an hourglass to wind back up to 7,300. Best way to say it it felt like an over ported 80cc dirt bike in a 125 chassis. I think I could turn faster lap times in my full size pickup
