God dammit. So much for gettin' lunch today. Nothing spoils an appetite like discussing childbirth. I'd rather watch open-heart surgery videos.

"Can I put the tube in the baby's head?"

"Only if I can do the epesiotomy."

Right. I have yet to see that angle (which I am sure was the sculptor's favorite).

Even though I did some time in 4H, I skipped animal husbandry...

Trust me, been there and its no better. After you are standing 2 feet away from someone (my ex-wife in my case) cut a persons breastbone open and spread the ribs to get at a heart, you have no idea.

After 15+ years of flying medivac and picking up pieces and parts, I have seen enough blood and guts. It still does not help during lunchtime...

That was the worst for me. When she was cutting the bone open she then had to burn the blood vessels in that area to keep it from bleeding. The smell of buring flesh brought back some memories that I did not need to relive...

Jordi, only if they are BBQ pork!

That's true, I can do without the smell.. did my share of cutting and stiching (mostly dead bodies) in pre-med.
