Primacord laid under the gasoline-filled plastic tube bags. They also use black powder. Also use air mortars to push compressed air to propel debris, but not in this instance.

So, the primer cord both lifts the cell and ruptures it at the same time?
Not that I would ever try this at home or somewhere else where it would look really cool.....

I'm not a blaster, nor a pyrotechnician, but Safety. My understand is they use Low Energy Detonating Cord which is denoted as 6.9 grain PETN. d: Yeah, they use the black powder to propel or lift things, and the Primacord to ignite, but they also use Primacord to rip things apart. If you saw the season ender of "Grey's Anatomy" after the Superbowl, a bomb technician got blown up. It was an A-B foam dummy with about 20 feet of Primacord wrap through its core.
