salvation invitation...

Many people wrongly think heaven awaits them when they die.

The Son of God Jesus Christ the one who rose from the grave after 3 days said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (Holy Bible - John 14:6)

About 2000 years ago God demonstrated His love by sending His promised Son, the Savior and Messiah, Jesus Christ, and allowing Him to be crucified.

God paid for our sins Himself.

The Lord is good, just and merciful beyond our understanding.

God the Son came as a sinless man. (Holy Bible - Philipians 2:6)

At the age of 33 Jesus Christ gave up His human life to save ours.

The shedding of His sinless blood and His death on the cross is the only acceptable payment for sin and our only way to God in heaven.

Do you think God would have allowed His Son to go through all this if there was some other way?

Before I invite you to salvation I must first warn you of the consequences of rejecting Jesus Christ.

I hear many Christians talk about heaven but fail to even mention hell.

The Word of God describes hell as a place of suffering and pain forever for all those who reject the salvation that only God can give. (Holy Bible - Matthew 13:42)

Wouldn't you like to have peace in your life now and a home in heaven forever when this life is over?

Heaven is described as a beautiful place with no death, sorrow, sickness and pain. (Holy Bible - Revelation 21:4)

To be saved the Word of God says, "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Holy Bible - Romans 10:9)

Don't wait until later to be saved because you may die before you get another chance.

All you have to do to be saved is make Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior.

If you would like to be saved right now just pray this prayer with your mouth to God and He will hear you and save you.

Dear God please save me. Dear Jesus Christ Son of God I want to make you my personal Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of my sins or things I have done wrong in my life. Thanks Jesus Christ for taking my punishment for my sins by shedding your sinless blood on the cross and dying for my sins. Jesus Christ I now confess you as my Lord and believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead. Amen.

If you just allowed God to save you then welcome to the family of God because you are now a Christian on your way to heaven.

Now that you are saved you should strive to live a Godly life.

Gosh Pat, give the guy a break. He posted in OT and even gave a headline that makes it clear this is a religious invitation.

Although I appreciate your faith, a burning eternal hell for the wicked/unbelievers is not a bible teaching and is not compatible with a loving God who is one God and not a trinty.

Scare tactics are a huge reason why so many people are turned off to even looking into the bible.

What was the promise to Adam if he chose to disobey God's requirements? It was to return to the dust in death...That is all.

Any thought of a flaming-fire punishment is a misinterpretation and false teaching...And therefore a LIE.

I will not pull any punches on this one...;)

I was trying to give him an out, from the aspic in which he's placed himself.

Apparently Ronald Grossi is somewhat of a famous jesus spammer:

I appreciate Ron's ernistness and concern for the souls of people that he hasn't even met. I suspect that he's picked up on some of the other threads via search spiders and the like and decided to share his message here. But I agree with Trekkor in this regard, beating people over the head and admonishing them that they'll rot in hell if they don't follow your lead doesn't appear to be a terribly effective evangilism approach. But my hat's off to him for even trying. Different strokes for different folks.

svandamme 07-30-2006 05:09 AM

for somebody who wants to convert folks to Christianity , he seems to forget one vital step towards salvation : beeing baptised

last time i checked, it's not just a technicality , even JC himself had to get baptised...

sheesh, what has the world come to when preachers don't know the details of the message they preach
