mmmm oysters!

met some 911 friends for a short drive. killed some bi-valves. score: humans-100, oysters-zero.

started off with one of these bags.

"ok, maybe get one more bag"

That was fun! Can't believe we ate 100 oysters between 8 people.

What a route too! Up Mt Tamalpais and down to Tomales? That had to have been harder on the car than autox. Lots of tight turns, undulations and pine needles.

Doing them for Thanksgiving. Planning on ten guest. Going to roast them on the fire pit. Lets see, how many in a bushel now?

OysterFest was held again in Shelton, Washington a couple of weekends ago. Oysters everywhere, cooked any way you can imagine, and beer. Life is sweet.

Didja ever wonder who the first guy was to eat one? I mean, who opened it up and just sucked the nasty slimy cold thing down raw... ...and what was he doing with horseradish in his pocket!?
