How about Star Wars Episodes 1-3? Stinky.

Blue Velvet was "wrong" but it was a great film.

The Life Aquatic. I walked out of the movie. The next time I see Bill Murray at a Saints game I'm going to demand that he give me back my money or let me pet the mascot pig.
What's the other guys name in that movie, he has a nose that my wife says looks like a wiener?

Tonight I saw "Fun with Dick and Jane".

Worst movie I've seen in ages. Really, really, awful.

I was really trying to tackle the techincal or factual correctness like:

Hackers

China Syndrome

Any movie with e-mail where the thing comes "flying in"

I can't remember the name, but there was this 1950's FBI movie where the FBI used "radar" and it was a TV type screen in the car dash and they got to listen to and watch the criminals before they did their crimes.

remember U-571.....about a bunch of Americanos capturing a U-Boat in WW2...

The History channel interviewed a WW2 U-Boat Captain who said of the movie, "They got 2 things right, one that it was WW2 and that it was at sea."

It was so over the top at times I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be a comedy or not.
Starship Troopers, IIRC, was done by the same director that did Total Recall.

The premise of the bugs is pretty moronic, but I think the cool parts of the story are the concept of the "war" and those news reports, which I'm guessing are supposed to be similar to WWII propoganda.

I cannot put into words the amount of loathing and despise I have for Lost in Translation. It is the only movie in history that actually gave me physical pain to watch.

Another one I really didn't like that a lot of people love is Pulp Fiction. I also got drug by an ex-girlfriend to Waiting to Exhale.

Reservoir Dogs - wish I could erase it from my brain. I felt physically sick after watching it.
Cape Fear remake with De Niro and Nolte. The scene with the bar chick was completely evil. The original was a bazillion times better with no gore.

Lost in Translation was excellent. One of the best films I've seen in years. I suppose that one needs to have travelled a lot to appreciate it though.

Life Aquatic was great as well. I love everything Wes Anderson does. His films have this really cool child-like quality to them. I don't understand why most people don't get his movies..

The "Saw" movies are pretty wrong. Very entertaining though
