Know what happened to them? They seemed to be increasing in audience base when I last saw them. Not the usual formula for cancellation.
Edited for spelling (duh)

Cathy may not have been what is considered by many "a beauty" but
was witty, smart and had a lot of hutzpah. I will take those qualities over "beauty" anytime when considering a long term relationship. "Good looks don't last.....Good cooking do...."

Good looks and good cooking? Not quite sure I get your logic on this one, but that's OK. Never saw the show, so I don't know how witty or smart she is (although I'm sure "She has a great personality!), I've just seen the pictures in this thread, and I'm just sayin' . . . woof! That's a double bagger. |

And, respectfully, you would prefer someone like the "beauties" of Hollywood that can't chew gum and walk at the same time (or remember to put on their skivvies)?
Different strokes for different folks. I like relationships that have at least a modicum of intellectual content. Beauty in a woman (or man for that matter), without substance is about as enticing as a marble statue. Fun to look at but no soul. I do not know anything about you, or your age, but the comment I posted about cooking simpy means that as time goes by your tastes will change and you will value character and talent above fleeting good looks.

Cathy was creator and executive producer of the show, she wasn't just the co-host. She did much more work behind the scenes.
