Hey Hey Hey, go Colts. I'm sorry that all guys who said the
colts would loose, but get over it, live with it, and have fun. You know that in a year or two, nobody will remember this game or who won and wont "shive a git". F*ck the NFL, the "no fun league" Here in Indy, they shut down viewing of the game at CHURCH, but let it go on in all the bars in town. What a sham. Yea, bring in all the people to drink, but get together to have fun without it, NO. Its all about the money, and its a shame.

For what it's worth, I'm from Indiana, but I've been a Bears fan my whole life. If the Bears weren't in it, I would've been for the Colts, hands down. This was a '"bittersweet" one. But the Bears should've.....ok whateva, Kiss my.....ya'll know the rest. LOL. I extend my hand.....congrats on the win. Now I'm going to slink away in tears...

Hmmm...I basically missed the whole thing. Rode my bike, washed my car, ate beef and pork ribs, drank a martini. In 90-degree L.A. weather...
Oh well, at least NASCAR starts next week.

Great for the Colts and good for the league...
But kind of a Crappy Game, and not a memorable SB. The Bears were close in the beginning but the Colts dominated starting from the 2nd Q on. The Bears had a better shot with Brian Griese at QB, had they chosen to go that route. He is simply more seasoned and more accurate than Grossman. It shows how far the NFC has fallen off of the AFC. |

Just saw a lot of highlights. Wow! Do you think Rex Grossman will be with the Bears next season? I don't.

Grossman is done in Chicago, probably done everywhere else too. The guy is horrific. I had him on my fantasy team this year and ended up cutting him. He personally accounted for 6 turnoves in a single game this season. SIX TURNOVERS!! Those passes he was throwing up in the 4th quarter were high, drifting ducks just waiting to be picked off. He wasn't even stepping into the throw. Griese will start for the Bears next season unless they trade or sign a free agent QB.
On the upside, I think this might set the stage for Ron Rivera coming to the Cowboys as defensive coordinator. It has to be frustrating for the guy to put together a world class defense only to watch a completely inept offense piss away the game. My prediction for the Cowboys coaching staff: Head Coach: Norv Turner OC: Jason Garrett DC: Ron Rivera

While on the surface, the continual imploding of Rex Grossman
would warrant a quick jettison from the Bears roster... and no doubt would satisfy many a Bears fans' whimsical nature... Do not look for it to happen any time soon. When a young QB leads a team to a stellar record and a Super Bowl berth.... such accomplishments are viewed as important milestones and way ahead of the growing curve of the typical NFL quarterback. Bears team management and head coach Lovie Smith have much invested in Grossman, particularly in terms of financial obligations and in fulfilling the quarterback role within the teams' structure. For a franchise that has never possesed what could be considered a "franchise QB" (McMahon not withstanding) the Bears would be left bereft of any impact within the roster should they let young Rex go any time soon. Rex is not the second-coming of Bobby Douglas, or even Trent Dilger for that matter. Releasing Rex, or demoting him to 2nd team simply will not happen...so don't count on it Bears fans. A more likely scenario will be for the Bears to bring in another veteran QB to the roster next year, perhaps someone such as Kurt Warner....in hopes of seasoning young Mr. Grossman via some mentorship and ossmosssis process....one that always looks great on paper, but somehow never seems to materialize in reality. |

Bad Grossman showed up yesterday. Like Rick said, he's done (in Chicago). Put a fork in him.

Looked to me like the Bear's defense let them down, their 17 points was about all I expected them to score. Especially given the rain factor, I was thinking the Colt's would have all kinds of trouble moving the ball. Their offensive stats have to look brutal to the Bear's defense. But then they were on the field all game also.

the bears have been an attacking defense all season, and last night they played it safe, giving up those underneath routes the entire game. When the blitzed peyton, he had a hard time completing passes. Im a little confused at why the shifted away from the style that took them to the SB
