Crazy Newt, "I fell short of God's standards"

Yeah, baby, Newt wasn't neutered it appears. He was "spreading the wealth" so to speak.

On today's AOL News is a quote from Newt Gingrich saying, "I've fallen short of God's standards" (referring to his affair with a secretary back when he was excoriating Clinton day in and day out for his sexual affairs).

Don't worry, Newt, if the next administration takes your advice and invades Iran, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria, and North Korea, possiby killing millions, then "mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord" will be on everyone's lips. All the ass-kissing GOP sychophants, from Coulter to Hannity, Limbaugh, Liddy, O'Reilly, and especially the Weekly Standard will see to it.
I can just see the little shrimp humping the secretary while on the phone with the Impeachment Committee. Bad visual.

Yeah, that's right, but not relevant in this thread.

Sounds like he took a page out of a fellow Georgian's playbook, who only "lusted in his heart for another woman."

There can't be too many threads on an arsehole who wants to be president that is a bigger philanderer than the guy he went after while in congress.

Ten threads wouldn't be enough. I intend to politically drown the farker.

At least. I've met him, and a number of my friends worked on his third attempt to get elected, the one that succeded finally. He immediately dumped them all, subscribed to the "Jesse Helms" national campaign funding method, and the rest is more or less history. Sleazeball only begins to describe him.

I used to live in GA when he was in Congress. I never liked him and his lack of character reinforced my dislike for him. He's a tool.

As I said, being called "brilliant" by fintstone is the kiss of death.

Newt got his kiss on 3/3. Gee, only 6 days.

For somebody who claims to have a clue, you don't. Take a minute and learn about Clinton's impeachment. That's right -- it isn't about sex. Infidelity is not a crime in this country.

LOL. Turns out that Newt was doing a Monica the same time Clinton was. Not the same Monica, mind you, but the same sinful transgression. And while he was impeaching Clinton!

If that doesn't tell you something about the Republican Right, nothing does.

Too bad he didn't have to admit it under oath, in court, while he was House Speaker.

He should have, a secretary is as much of a subordinate as an intern is. Newt's Monica might still be able to sue if the limitations hasn't run out.

As goofy as Newt is, he's goofier looking in person mind you, he must be trying to get ahead of "bimbo eruptions" of his own, before his "campaign" begins.

I defy anyone here to honestly express that if you were a married, middleaged, high profile politician and were asked if you were having sex with someone other than your wife; that you would say, "Yes I am"
You'd squirm like a dog. It's what Clinton did and the Right is just as guilty of sex scandal as the Left but they wanted to end Clinton's Presidency so badly they would have done anything to get him.

Hypocrisy, is hypocrisy. "It wasn't the fact that he was having sex" Who is parsing words now?

"I did not have sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky..."
"I was not hypocritical with that man,... Mr. Clinton" Sound familiar?

Those that attacked Clinton over the relationship with Lewinsky did so over the sex, not the lying before a court. They still do. Many times stating that teenagers are still influenced by Clinton's actions as if the president sets sexual standards in America.

Gingrich was in the thick of those "implications" all along. He appeared repeatedly on FauxNews with these moral accusations and implications for not just months, but years and still appears and states these things.

That Gingrich was doing exactly the same thing as Clinton, while excoriating Clinton for his sexual relations with Lewinsky is the hypocracy, a textbook example.

Baloney. The Right Wing financed a civil law suit of sexual harrassment by some slut, in which their lawyers managed to get Clinton to have to testify under oath about his general sex life. How did that happen? Well, the judge was female.

Forcing a President to respond to a civil action suit was pretty ridiculous at the time. But those were the times. It was a period when the special prosecutor law got out of control, and the Republican Right took advantage of it. A vendetta all the way. They managed to turn something civil into something criminal over a President's sex life? In America?

Clinton said, in legal terms, he didn't f..k M. And he didn't. No lie there. What M. had to do with that civil case, I'll never know.

And meanwhile, we have now learned that Newt was doing some poking of his own. No special prosecutor for him. And he was doing some real poking.

Bush is damn lucky there is no longer a special prosecutor law. So are the taxpayers that funded all this crap.
