Maybe it's not a 4/1 joke. I heard a report the U.S. military is conducting massive war games in the region right now. Maybe we're just trying to first scare them before we next destroy them.

But... But... But!!?? Broken record over and over again.

I farted a few minutes ago and it was Pres Bush's (and his admin) fault. Everything is his fault, even the fact that my neighbour lost a tree in a wind storm earlier today is Bush's fault if one listens to nay sayers like you!

Feel better?

It will be fun to watch liberals react during the next Democratic administration. When a terrorist act occurs, for example, they'll probably start blaming terrorists. Or when the stock market zooms up, they'll probably give some credit to the administration's policies.

Broken record is right. Are you suggesting the Iran attack decision is someone else's? Are you aware who made the Iraq decision. If we are ever going to start believing that conservatives take responsibility, we might first need to be removed from your excuses for a while.

Somebody's going to take responsibility for the mess. That same person would have happily accepted the credit, had things gone well. Responsibility, Joe.

Supe,

I am suggestion that we all take responsibility for our future and stop blaming ANYONE who is in the White House and work towards the future.

You guys keep pointing the finger at Pres Bush when its the entire political machine that is the problem. None of them are any good and the sooner that you guys stop slathering over things in DC the better.

Joe

PS, if there is an attack on Iran, the decision will be made for us... by Iran. They have already taken the first step by siezing the Brit Navy group, now lets see what their next move will be. Do you guys ever look ahead???

No, Iran's next move wouldn't be against us or Britain, it would be against Israel in an attempt to undermine western support for Israel. At least that's what I'd suspect. They can do a lot of damage to Israel and a fair amount to U.S. forces in Iraq. I'd expect to see them attacking oil installations in Iraq too (note to self: go long on oil futures when trading opens tomorrow, 'cause prices are gonna' go through the roof).

Doubt that they would go after Israel. They know that the Israeli's would slap them silly and they have at least 200 nukes, ready and waiting. The only way to do this would be to knock Israel out completely, and that would mean nukes, and they will not do this due to the holy areas for Islam in the area.

The minute they attack any US Forces then the gloves are off, and attacking anything in the open in Iraq is the same thing.

Agree with you on the oil prices, its already going up.

Actually, Democrats so far have done a much better job of fending off or foiling terrorist attacks. But after this administration is through multiplying and strengthening America's enemies around the world, it'll be a bit harder.

Wish I had some of the drugs you are doing. Have you seen any of the nationwide surveys of which party the population of the US feels will take care of our country in the event of another terrorist event?

Where do you get these illusions? The Dems lay down and spread their cheeks whenever something happens... its the Republicans who kick a$$ when needed.

I dunno. If your choices are go up against the US - I mean REALLY go up against the US to the point they're going to drop the hammer on you, or the Brits, or the Israelis - I bet they still go after Israel. They'll turn it into a Muslim-versus-Jew thing and overnight they get Syria, Jordan, etc. on their side lobbing missiles into the Gaza strip - or worse.

Another scenario - if Syria blasts across the border blitzkreig style, you think Israel would ever use a nuke against "their" own territory? I doubt it. Not even tactical ones (assuming they have 'em, which they might). They'd sure bomb hell out of the place but I doubt they'd resort to nukes in that case. Maybe a "get our or we nuke your capital" thing. Could get real ugly real fast though.

Feel bad for the Iraq/Afghan troops - they'll take the immediate heat from Iran before (if it comes to that) the rest of the west and/or NATO comes and wipes them off the map in retaliation.

i heard something the other day that made me consider. this administration has divided our allies, and united our enemies.

i thought that pretty much summed thing up.

April fools. Ain't gonna happen.

Now, Israel doing it is much more plausible... they don't f..k around if they feel threatened.

Mmmmm.....

since when have the conservatives ever taken responsibility for their actions.....Uh, can you say $2B a month going to the Iraq mess, with no end in sight. No? How about the bridge thing in Alaska?

Why does Bush get so much grief? I can't believe you asked....It should be very evident this far into the game.

Will we attack Iran? Doubtful......BUT, after this week, the Brit's might.

Who cares if Iran gets Nukes? Nobody's still pissing about Pakistan or India. What's another pile of crap, in a pile of crap?

Of course, most of you should feel comfortable knowing that the USA can track yellow cake anywhere, anytime.

It's no big deal.

Of course, most of you should feel comfortable knowing that the USA can track yellow cake anywhere, anytime.

1. Conservatives take responsibility for their actions. It's the Neoconservatives who do not take responsibility for anything, and use the 'big lie' technique to answer ciritcs. Neocons have no regard for budgets or fiscal responsibility.

2. Bush is the worst president this country has ever had, running the least ethical and open administration in history -- of course after promising the opposite.

3. Many of the Neocons in the administration would gladly back any excuse -- including a false flag action -- to start bombing Iran.

4. Iran was always a bigger threat than Iraq, but never as big a threat as Dubya made North Korea by marginalizing and threatening them. Pakistan and the uncontrolled nukes in the former USSR are bigger threats. Iran is still years from having the ability to make a nuclear weapon and who knows if they could ever deliver it. But the neocons are the greatest fearmongers in history, and have so many on this BBS cowering under their beds, it's pathetic. America used to be a place where we were realistic about threats, not afraid of our own shadows. But fearful people are easily controlled.

5. As I'm sure you know (but many others don't seem to), yellowcake isn't a weapon.

sorry Tech.....I didn't think I needed to get into the mundane of conservative distinctions. There is plenty of blame for the fiscally destructive actions of the re-Bubbs in Congress of late.

While yellow cake is not a weapon, it can become one. this is what I meant by knowing where it is, and what's being done with it...and then, dealing with it.

Like I said, a pile of crap, in a pile of crap.....

And yes, I have a long history of Bush and his ineptitudes in my home state of Texas, but I think Donald Trump out it quite well:

"Bush is the worst president this country has ever had."

I could not have said it better, except to use the Donald's favorite saying:

"You're fired!"

Can we just impeach these cogsuckers already? What are people waiting for, WW3? $10.00 @ gallon gas and $100 for a bag of groceries? This is the worst looting I've ever seen. Does anyone even remember the country (and world) that these jackholes inherited?
