Having done a few trade shows, I know the drill. But, you forgot one part, the amount of money personally spent on booze. Those "left outs" gots to fork over, too.

(I spent a few late show hours about half cocked and made some pretty good sales. Of course, the people on the floor at that time were probably just plain drunk.)

Actually I was one of the few people that could get away with stuff like that.

That was mild compared to other "stuff" I'd done or said.

Excerpt from the engineering analysis:

"Number 4 showed by far the best resistance to crash damage, and when launched with sufficient velocity, flew as far or farther than all other entries, while being less affected by crosswinds. Clearly #4 shows some great potential in future aircraft design. The designer is the clear winner, and will be recieving the grand prize all expenses paid vacation to Puerto Vallarta."

Tell me about it... I am sometimes tempted to volunteer for "road trips" here at work (get out of the office, see a new town, meet new people) but then I remember... fighting my way through the airport, squished onto an airplane for hours, dealing with jet lag and time changes...

But the killer was my "stress management" of going out on the town (drinking) at night (kids don't try this at home) and realizing I was spending $100-$150 a day on food/drink with a per diem of $40 a day.
