Too many crazy "close calls" to mention. No one wants to hear my life story. Just have to say 2 things: I've never been to jail and cops aren't nearly as cool as they were 40 years ago. They only gave tickets to those that deserved them, really deserved them. A marginal infraction was a warning, but a radar was "in the books."
I gotta say I've gotten very few actual tickets (not that I didn't warrant a few more), but the majority of them were for really CS stuff, like rolling a right turn red light with no traffic (2). Or, making a U-turn right in front of the police station and a cop, but you couldn't see the no-u-turn sign from my lane because of a tree. No seat belt last year. I'm so far ahead of the game that I didn't even contest the u-turn. |
