Idol sucks

I'd rather redo my 993 plug wires just for the hell of it than watch this show. Go read a book, watch paint dry, grass grow or just sleep. Anything is better.

For those of you who don't watch, why do you even participate in a thread called" Idol Sucks"?
It's a talent show with audience participation.
When the general population participates in a consensus of excellence it will generally be B*ll *****.

If you're really angry about the outcome, don't vest emotion in a calculated business decision.

Boy-girl, boy-girl elimination can't be random.

You might also look to Simon's comment "Melinda, I want to see you in the final."
That had to provoke at least half the voters to choose someone else.

you guys are just upset that Rosie is off the View, so you're taking it out on Idol.

Just put a Desperate Housewives tape in and relax...it'll all be ok. You still have your plasma screen, and you can just change to Dancin' With the Stars or some other deep programming...

Remember Am. Idol makes huge money. Makes huge money with variations around the world.

As for what to watch on tv, it seems nothing but static has total control of the button in his house.

I tivo F1 and Iron Chef (American and Japanese versions), along with 24. That would be about it. Don't watch tv news or any other primetime shows. The only reason I know about them is from what I read on google news and you guys whining like little women about what's on the tube

I agree. If you watch stupid stuff like Idol, you deserve all the moaning and whining you're doing.

I watch F1, WRC, Good Eats, old Star Trek, and various documentary programs. That's about it. Use TiVo, skip all the commercials and boring bits, can watch a 1 hour program in 20-30 minutes. Average 1-2 hours a week, more during F1 season though. I don't have a lot of free time and TV isn't how I want to blow it. (I just blow it here on PPOT.)

So far, I haven't even been motivated to buy a fancy new flat screen TV. Don't think I'll use it enough to care. When the old tube TV dies, maybe.

Wife watches: House and Idol. So basically if I am around I will watch too if I have nothing to do.
