I watched a bullfight on TV once while I was in Spain. It's barbaric. When they release the bull into the ring it circles the ring looking for a way out. They antagonize the bull until it fights for it's life. Even then it still looks for a way out.

In the rodeo and bullfights, I root for the bulls.

I ran with the bulls back in the 70's. I'm surprised no one else here has. Yes, it is dangerous. Would I do it again? no. But I'm glad I did at the time. It was an amazing experience.

Another participant, Christopher Neiff, 24, of Norway, had the bull’s horn tear into his shin and slide under the skin right up to his knee. Festival organizers said Neiff had a nearly 5-inch wound, but that the bone was not affected.

In one incident, the bull's horn tore through the shin of Norwegian Christopher Neiff, 24, sliding under the skin and right up to his knee. Photographs and video images of the moment were not for the squeamish.
