Dear "Mama Moonbat",

I wish you all the luck in the world. It must really suck having "your party" use you and then discard you when no longer needed. I hate to say it but your 15 minutes are just about up. And BTW, your son Enlisted as a volunteer (might be a stretch, but he might have been ready to get away from home). Yes, he was brave. Yes, he was a hero...we honor him, we hate that he lost his life as we hate for ANY soldier to die. Please try to let it go and move on with your life.

guys please...sheehan is not a serious candidate...I don't know whats up but I don't believe she is a serious candidate. Props to her for trying if she is serious but she'll get what ...5 votes?

She'll get lots more than 5 votes. This country is chocked full of uniformed idiots who will vote for her.
There should be an IQ test at the polling place.

If she runs against Pelosi in the primary, she'll have no chance whatsoever. If she runs 3rd party, a lot of Repubs could end up voting for her just to get Pelosi out of the Speaker's chair.

Are you saying the current crop of those in DC actually have a "grip on reality"?

Also, guys....This country has had its greatest moments when independent thiniers step up. Teddy R. comes to mind. What makes us great (or used to) was the ability of individuals to speak their mind and run for office. Of course today, big business elects our government.

Rick: You say that Cindy is mentally unstable? You have credentials as a psychologist?

I personally do not care for her one issue type of thinking, but I think we should respect her whether we like her views or not for simply standing up and being willing to risk.

She lost her son. Whether he "volunteered" or not is irrelevant. I lost my wife who "volunteered" to a simple colonoscopy. I can tell you that the loss of a close loved one is difficult and life changing. Those of you who have not had that experience will NEVER understand.

Here's my take on this and no, I'm not a shrink. It's just my opinion:
She lost a son and could not handle the grieving. Either from guilt or whatever, she simply could not get over it and go on with life. She had to blame someone, anyone. It had to be someone else's fault and not hers. She set out to punish a scapegoat and becuase of her diminished capacity for reality, she went after the president of the united states. She became psycotic and disturbed, she is completely obsessed. She even partnered up with our country's enemies in an attept to "get even". It has cost her marriage, her money, she has lost almost everything including her sanity.
She belongs in a straight jacket and not in the news. I shudder with fright when I hear or read those who actually think she is doing a good thing. SHE IS DANGEROUS.

No, I'm not and never claimed to be. Go ahead, Bob. Tell me Sheehan doesn't have a screw loose. If nothing else, she lacks the political savvy to realize she's been used like a doormat by the Dems and tossed by the roadside. Most folks who get into a David vs. Goliath political battle know they have no chance of winning, but just want to influence the debate a bit. Sheehan has no chance of even doing that. Yes, she's a nut. She won't even make Pelosi squirm. Pelosi's seat is as safe as Robert Byrd's ever was.
