Micheal Jackson. Thriller.
God I'm so ashamed. Do you think there's anything wrong with me? |

Robert Snyder - Hey! You been looking in my medicine cabinet?! And yes, as a matter of fact I AM getting stuff from AARP. So far, I tear it up without reading it. I haven't even hit 53 yet for the love of God, can't they leave me to my fantasy of still being 35ish for AT LEAST another two years?! cairns - You want to know if there is something wrong with YOU? No, but there is something wrong with ME! One of the songs I didn't cop to when posting this was "Ben" by Michael Jackson. What is more defective than liking a song about a friggin' rat sung by a...well....uh...a friggin' RAT?!

I really dig the early Jackson 5 (A-B-C, I'll Be There, Stop the Love You Save, etc.). Over the top "pop", but great hooks.

I posted "guilty pleasure" songs. Everyone (I think?) recognizes Orbison for his HUGE talent.
I meant things like "Muskrat Love" or "At the Copa"! - NO, those aren't my guilty pleasures, I already copped to "Ben", wan't that bad enough? Okay, okay I'll admit to another - "Hotrod Lincoln" I LOVE singing to that song while speeding along late at night.

My pops grew up in Ecorse, MI. I remember when I was a kid hearing MOTOWN all day in the house (Jackson 5, Four Tops, Temptations, Commodores, Smokey Robinson) Anytime I am driving around now and I hear any of the stuff I grew up listening to get turned up. Drives my gf crazy. |
