So DD, are you a son in law of a "Bob Clampett cartoon", or dare i say it, "Chuck Amuck"?

I'm with the Clampett camp, which you might know doesn't see eye-to-eye with the Jones camp, particularly with who created what characters, etc.
Supposedly, Clampett has more censored cartoons than anyone else in the history of animation. He's almost a no-no in modern day programming. Is that something to be proud of? In this business, you bet!
If a network like Boomerang plays one of his more controversial WB shorts, it's so cut up with edits, that the cartoon is barely worth watching.
As for Chuck - he was a thinking man's animator/director. Wile E. Coyote/Road Runner is still an amazing series for all that it doesn't have. It's like animated literary minimalism.
I think, if you can call it "disturbing," the most disturbing cartoon Chuck's done (and I believe it is censored), is "Chow Hound." If you can find the short, check it out with the word "addiction" in mind, and see what you come up with as a commentary on substance abuse.
